Changes of the dialing order a long-distance and international phone numbers

On execution of the order of the Ministry of transport and communication of Ukraine from 29.09.2008 ¹ 1200 «About the statement of the Plan of transition to perspective system of numbering of a telephone system of the general Ukraine using», since October, 14th, 2009 the order of dialing the long-distance and international phone numbers was changed.
To reach a long-distance telephone system, it is necessary to dial the prefix «0» instead of an old long-distance prefix «8». To reach the international telephone system you have to dial prefix «0–0» instead of the old international prefix «8–10».It means if you want to call by the phone to another city, another country or the mobile number of a subscriber it is necessary to dial figure «0» at first. After dialing «0» (from stationary phone) it is necessary to wait a continuous signal and only then to dial up other figures — a code of the necessary city, a code of a network of the mobile communication operator without the first figure «0» in an old code, further without an interval you have to dial a phone number of the subscriber.
